First Week of School Blues

I happen to have quite a few friends who are teachers, of all grades. ¬†This post is inspired by them and all they do throughout a school day! Where I grew up, we had uniforms in gradeschool that required none other than khaki pants–like 10 years straight of khaki pants. For that reason, I fought wearing them or purchasing new ones throughout my college years. Post-graduation and into the workforce however, I found that khaki pants were one thing my wardrobe still needed even after all the fighting to live without them!

During my 9-5, I am doing A TON of hopping in and out of the car, on my feet all day, or in the heat (because let’s be honest–Louisiana never gets cold). So when I wore this outfit to work one day, I immediately thought of how comfortable teachers would be wearing it too!

Blues and purples are my favorite colors to wear, and y’all know I had to throw some print in there somewhere. The loose peplum detail on the tank sold me on it. Apparently some of my outfit pieces went away with the summer months, but I’ve linked tons of similar fall-ish options¬†below. Feel free to share with a teacher in your life!
